My work is featured in Hilton’s new museum-hotel hybrid concept, the Banker’s Alley Hotel, in downtown Nashville. Museum manager Anna McKeown selected twelve works for this curated art-filled event space and boutique hotel concept.

I am honored to share this two-person exhibit with Atlanta-based artist Melissa Huang. Titled by McKeown, “Glass Ceiling, Black Mirror,” the curator states:

“These art pieces contain concepts of self-reflection and personal growth, using very different style and mediums. Applying bold and feminine color palettes, both Huang and Mooney explore the pressures and expectations that Americans place on women and femme people to perform stereotypes associated with femininity…[the artists] find ways to convey what those boxes are, how they fit into them, and how to break out of them.”

Located prominently between 2nd and 3rd avenue right off Nashville’s infamous Broadway, the exhibit is located in Gallery 2 and runs through March 2024.
